About Me
I am a small breeder located in Northeast Austin Texas. My
goal as a breeder is to produce healthy well tempered and comformally
correct English Bulldogs that will not only be your pet but be part of
your family. We raise all of our puppies in our home with tons of TLC. When i say we I mean me and my female Patches. I myself am fairly new to breeding bulldogs. I started breeding them with the help of 2 of my friends that have over 15 years experience breeding english bulldogs. I researched this amazing breed for months before i found the perfect female. Her name is Patches she is super sweet and follows me everywhere i go. I got Patches from a breeder up in Tennesse who is now my good friend Elaine. She only sold her because she found out she had cancer and could no longer care for Patches.. Elaine had many different breeders that wanted to buy Patches however they wanted to stick her out in a kennell and just breed her over and over.. which she did not want. I met Elaine on puppyfind.com. I told her that i had been researching english bulldogs for months and that i wanted a dog that would be part of my family that i would give lots of love and attention. The day we met in person It was a perfect match. Patches ran right to me and gave me the biggest hug.. About 5 months later With the help of Elaine and my friend Sal at ATLbulldogs.com i decided to breed Patches. Patches had already had 2 litters with Elaine.. She had breed all natural and had 8 her first litter and 10 her 2nd.. She not only bred naturally she also gave birth naturally. Which is vary rare for english bulldogs.. 90% delivery C section... Patches went in heat back in may but this time she bred Artifically.. with a stud in Houston Texas. She gave birth to 2 healthy males on july 17 2008 one of which i hand delivered myself.. talk about scary.. 5 in morning seeing 2 little feet sticking out.. you call the ER Vet and they say oh $2,000 bucks yikes.. So i said a prayer and put my gloves on and helped Patches deliver.. Thats when the scary part started.. yep baby came out breach.. got half way out and then stuck.. i calmly said to Patches "push sweety push" she pushed one last time and out came a little male.. quickly with Patches help he started crying.. and then went straight in for a drink on momma. The second baby boy was born 5 hours later at the Vets Office.. and of course the Vet is never in the room when they deliver but this time he came out head first like a rocket .. and seconds later crying and went straight to momma for a drink. Now both my boys are ready for their new homes. =)
